I enjoyed this free write for its analysis of the American suburb with special tribute to the greatest of all front yard ornamentation, the lawn. The suburban sprawl comes as an interesting point of discussion for architectural academia, as these concepts all seem so alien to architecture and social structure in almost all other cultures.

    Kyle, I found this free write very interesting because I would never have made the connection between the front lawn and evolution/our primal instincts.
